This qualification is aimed at those who wish to develop

ICA10105 Certificate I in
Information Technology
This nationally recognised and
certified course teaches students how to use a personal computer and
successfully operate software most commonly used in business and/or the
home. The full course consists of 6 units. To gain the full
qualification students should complete all units.
Students with a health care card in the family are
required to provide a copy of the card to qualify for the concession rate for fees.
The units cover the fundamentals of personal
computer use: including Windows and file management; the use of internet and email; the MS
Office package in word processing (Word), spreadsheets (Excel), database (Access) and
presentation packages (Powerpoint);

The CGEA is for those who have not completed
a secondary education and want a learning pathway to further study or
employment. The Certificate of General Education for Adults can offer an
equivalent secondary college qualification with pathways to VCAL, VET,
employment or self achievement. The course covers units in literacy,
numeracy, computing and employment skills. Suitable for adults or
youth over the school leaving age (16 to 55 years).

TAA40104 Certificate IV in
Training & Assessment
This qualification replaces the previous Cert. IV in Assessment
& Workplace Training BSZ40198. This training has been designed to
provide learners with a range of competencies needed to deliver training,
facilitate learning and conduct competency-based assessment within their
area of expertise. To be awarded the qualification the learner must be
assessed as competent in all 14 units. Prerequisite: access to
internet for assessment and communication with trainer.
