This qualification is aimed at those who wish to develop skills for work
in an office environment to train or re-train for the workforce with an
emphasis on developing skills in computing. Cost includes amenities
fee of $5 per unit.
Pre-requisite: Access to computer for assessment and homework and
fundamental skills in computing.
Students have the option of adding another 2 units to complete their
Certificate I in Information Technology. (extra cost is $65 or $10
concession)

This course consists of all
units needed to gain the full Certificate I in Information Technology
ICA10105. An ideal way to become accredited in computer usage.
Recognised standard for all job seekers in office environment. Covers
competencies in Personal Computing, Word Processing, Internet/Email,
Spreadsheets, Database and Presentations. Cost includes amenities fee of $5
per unit. Pre-requisites: Access to computer and internet for
assessment and homework.

Certificate II in Information Technology ICA20105
Cost
for both Cert I & Cert II in IT $640 ($145 conc) ACFE funded
This course allows you to gain your
Cert I in IT at the same time as completing a Certificate II level
qualification. The program covers all units from Certificate I in IT, plus
the further units needed to complete the Certificate II in Info. Tech.
Covers: using advanced applications of MS Office, HTML coding for web pages,
connecting and operating hardware, capturing and manipulating digital
images, optimising an operating system, communicating, OH&S and working in
an IT environment. Cost includes amenities fee of $10 per unit.
Prerequisite: Access to computer for assessment and homework. Students are
required to purchase a manual for $66 (GST Inc).

We have developed a
schedule which allows students to work on one, two or three qualifications
at the same time. You can save time and money completing units common to
these qualifications and gain 2 or 3 qualifications. By successfully
completing all assessment tasks and homework, you will be credited with
units from both Information Technology and Business studies.
These qualifications are
recognised standards for job seekers in the office environment. These
courses are the ideal way of becoming accredited in computer usage to
successfully operate the software most commonly used in business today. The
courses are suitable for anyone training or re-training for the workforce
and will equip students with the essential skills, knowledge and attributes
required to work in a range of clerical and general administrative
positions. Skills in computing will be developed to a level appropriate for
work in a modern business organization.

Advanced Applications of MS Office:::&

Two accredited units common to both Information Technology

environment. Extend your computer skills and knowledge with advanced use of
MS Office 2007 in advanced Word, MS Publisher, Excel spreadsheets, Access
