Course Outline

This course is designed to help improve your job seeking skills.  The first part will give you lots of ideas for writing a top notch CV and letter of application.  The second part will help you to be well prepared for a job interview. 

It will help you to learn more about employment issues and how the internet can be used as a research tool for enhancing job-seeking skills.   There are two main section to work your way through. 

  1. Creating a Curriculum Vitae and Letter of Application
  2. The Interview

Course Content

Outlined below is a list of the sections to read. There are hot outlinks to go to - with activities to complete.  Working through these in sequence will strengthen your skills and knowledge. 

Click on an activity number to go to that section or to work on an activity. You will notice that throughout the course, and after some activities, more information about the topic is included.  As mentioned earlier, within each section you also need to note that there are outlinks to hot sites that can help you learn so much more.  Do not miss out on the extra activities recommended within the outlinks!   There is a list of resources with useful web sites you can visit.  These sites will provide you with lots of job seeking information.
