| Committee of Management: |
The Committee of Management is responsible for the overall management,
monitoring of activities, strategic planning and policy development of the
organisation. The
committee, which is elected annually, is representative of members and the local
community. Day to day operations are managed by staff who are employed the Management
Committee.

| Manager: |
Driven by community development principles, the Manager is responsible for managing all
aspects of the organisation, resourcing and empowering members, and working to implement
policy and plans developed by the Committee of Management.

| Finance Officer: |
Responsible for planning, managing and administering the finances of
Longbeach PLACE under the
direction of the management committee and manager. Follows policy and procedures of
the organisation in maintaining accurate and up to date financial records and ensures
accounts are
prepared for annual audit.

| Program Co-ordinator: |
Driven by a commitment to community development and lifelong learning principles, the
Program Co-ordinator is responsible for the development, maintenance, monitoring,
evaluation and reporting of programs. Responsible for producing program brochure and
ensures distribution of promotional materials.

VET Co-ordinator: |
Oversees and develops
programs in Vocational Education and Training (VET). Ensures that
the delivery and assessment of accredited programs meet the requirements
of their relevant Training Packages.

| Information Technology Co-ordinator: |
Administers operations of Longbeach PLACE Information Technology
program. Ensures facilities and equipment
are maintained, and that educational programs are developed and delivered in response to
the needs of learners.

| Customer Service: |
Responsible for customer assistance and service at the reception desk.
Maintains computerised database of student enrolments and payments.
Elected by other workers as their Health & Safety Representative.

| Child Care Co-ordinators: |
Responsible for the development and implementation
of a quality activity program, in a challenging fun environment, which meets
the individual developmental needs of the children who are
participating.

| Volunteers: |
Volunteers at Longbeach PLACE are a vital part of the organisational team.
Training is provided so that skills can be continually improved and upgraded.
Volunteer roles include: receptionist, clerical assistants child care
assistant,
group facilitator, trash & treasure market.
