Indigenous and Multicultural Garden Community Education Workshops

Very exciting free workshops hosted by Longbeach Place Inc. We are welcoming Cassie Leatham as a presenter to learn how to use indigenous plants and herbs for weaving, cooking, pampeering and as medicine! 

- Coastal Foraging; Saturday July 29 10-12pm @ Derrimut Weelam Gathering Place, Beach RD Mordialloc

This workshop will be focused on to identify and uses of the traditional First Nation native plants.

We will learn about native ingredients uses in food preparation. We will also be making some toffees and herb butters to try!

Indigenous Weaving session will cover the indigenous cultural significance of weaving while also learning some traditional weaving techniques.
