Join us for a fun day celebrating women offering learning opportunities related to health and wellbeing.

Longbeach learning and Activity Centre is hosting a Women’s Health Event on Sunday 5th May. The women’s health event is targeted at improving the quality of life of women in the community. We hope the event will improve and boost the under representation of health services for women by offering knowledge and practical options for women to be empowered, strengthened, and enhanced.

This event is for you, your mum, your sister and your friend. It is an event for all the great women in your life.

Join us for a day celebrating women offering FREE learning opportunities related to Health and Wellbeing.

As a consistent high achiever for over 20 years, world record breaker and a pioneering first, Tammy van Wisse has been there, swum that!

Tammy is a master at conquering extreme challenges, from the famous freezing cold Loch Ness and English Channel to the most dangerous Straits – Bass and Cook Strait.

Armed with the same energy and dedication as she put into her incredible swimming career, Tammy brings a truly unique and inspiring presentation that entertains as it informs, and inspires as it motivates.

Time to Shine- A journey of self care and self-awareness. 

Join Sally Caroll and start your journey to understanding the role of our thoughts, feelings, behaviours in parenting children/teens and how our behaviours influence our kiddos.

Help learn to recognise the following

~ recognising and honing our strengths when parenting.

~ recognising areas of improvement.

~ how the mind constantly judges and evaluates life.

~ how our belief systems and narrative affects our outcomes.

~ how our core beliefs underlies stress.

~ how the body reacts when our emotional memory is triggered. (brain anatomy re fight and flight centre of brain)

And finally discuss how we find inner calm and peace and how does this affect your relationship with your life partner and what if even are we looking for in a relationship with our life partner?  some strategies centred around, love, connection, support, validation and acknowledgement).

Survive and Thrive, a path to a peaceful home” will delve in to environment and the mental health and self awareness of parents. It’s very non judgmental and kind, full of strategies to calm our inner dialogue. Sal will talk about the “4 stressful thinking lenses” we look through and how that affects our health and wellbeing. Join us in this safe and 

 comfortable  environment to share and be part of  lots of laughs.

Intuitive Aromatics and our emotions

This workshop is about Aromatic Heartwork that inspires transformation, providing a safe and gentle space so you can unwind, feel nurtured, nourished and aligned.

 

Since ancient times, flowers, plants and herbs have held symbolic and often secret meanings. They have been widely regarded and used in a variety of therapies as symbols of the soul, to unlock our intuition. Essential oils have the capacity to create an opening in our psyche, enabling us to energetically and cognitively make a shift in our perception about certain situations in our lives.

 

What to expect:
 

  • Tapping into the wisdom of nature as we explore the essential oil blend (5 ml roller bottle) you get to take home

  • Learning practical relaxation techniques on your hands, face and ears combined with breathing techniques

  • A short meditation 

  • Connecting within through a bit of journaling and re-kindling our intuition 

  • Love | Grace | Gratitude practice – ‘mindfulness in a moment’ through gentle arm movement

 

Join me for an interactive Sunday afternoon at Longbeach place on Sunday 5th May where together we will explore our breath, essential oils and their power to assist you in your daily life.
